In my first Integral Yoga class in 1991 I felt what surrender meant and how that calmed the mind so deeply.
Why I Love Studio Be Yoga
There is a lot of space for a meditative attitude, for exploring different styles and approaches, and for finding your way in various poses. There is no rigidity, no hurry, and no required sequence.

My first yoga teacher who taught with such dedicated Grace, Manjula Judi Spears, my meditation teacher, Uma Laura Rose, the service and teachings of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Swamis Satchidananda and Sivananda, and the Buddhist approach to suffering and compassion are great influences. And many other teachers, friends and students who help me and provide invaluable feedback!
