INTERMEDIATE
YOGA
Here we expand the variety of asanas, increase strength and resilience, and cultivate a keener awareness of movement and breath. The emphasis is on application of asana, less on step-by-step instruction. You’re ready for intermediate classes when you have achieved a familiarity with the basic poses and you know what is healthy for your body, based on your ability to listen to its messages. Types of asana include more advanced seated and standing poses, twists, backbends, arm balances, and inversions.

ADVANCED YOGA
These are dynamic flow classes with a wide range of more intense and challenging asanas, requiring a spirit of adventure as well as an advanced level of practice.
ALL LEVELS
These classes are designed for students with varying levels of experience with yoga. They serve as a good stepping-stone for those ready to transition from Beginning to Intermediate classes.
NOTE
If you attend a class that exceeds your level of ability, take care to work at your edge where you will most benefit, and, be safe. And please keep in mind that the teacher may not be able to offer as much personal instruction. Don’t hesitate to ask the teacher for suggestions as to which classes may be more suitable for you.
