Favorite Asana
My best friend is the dog, up or down. It comes as a great reprieve and home base after twisting and contorting into various death drops and hovering on the edges. I keep finding new ways to teach this old dog.

Little Known Fact About Me
I love to play yoga in nature-in the ocean, the mountains, and on park benches. Sand is great for Hanumanasana (Splits), water for balance poses and lunges, rocks for Warrior poses-whatever I can find to stretch over, balance on, hang from, or sink down into. The world is my yoga mat.

I Knew I loved Yoga When
I was in London at the Kundalini Yoga Center in 1973 and I literally fell down onto my thighs after having done some kundalini breathing and the heavens opened.

Words That Best Describe My Classes
Deeply exploratory and balancing with wild imagery.

Why I Love Studio Be Yoga
Studio Be Yoga is like a warm all-embracing hug. I have never felt anything but love, acceptance, and support for everyone in their lives and in their practices. There is safety to be fully yourself. There is also a great deal of sattva (truth) generated from all the deep practice, beauty, and care of the space. I would know the feel and smell of Studio Be with my eyes closed: the fresh flowers, the warm wood, the silent hum, and the well-loved wool blankets.

Greatest Influences
My yoga inspirations have been Sofia Diaz, Arthur Kilmurray, and our beloved Wendy Bramlett.
